The department Bella Vista is located in the west of the province of Corrientes in northeast Argentina and is one of 25 administrative units in the province.
In the north it is bordered by the Department of Saladas , in the east by the Department of San Roque , in the south by the Department of Lavalle and in the west, separated by the Río Paraná , by the province of Santa Fe .
