The Goya department is located in the southwest of the Corrientes province in northeast Argentina . It is one of 25 administrative units in the province.

In the north it borders on the department Lavalle , in the east on the department Curuzú Cuatiá , in the south on the department Esquina and in the west, separated by the Paraná river , on the province of Santa Fe .

The capital of the department Goya is the same location on the Río Paraná City Goya .
