Belpahar is a city in the east Indian state of Odisha .
The city is located in the Jharsuguda district . Belpahar borders on Brajarajnagar to the east . The reservoir of the Hirakud Dam extends south of the city .
The national highway NH 200 and the Raigarh –Jharsuguda railway line run through the city.
