The von Benda family was a noble family who lived in Rubkow near Lassan in Western Pomerania from the 19th century .

Wilhelm Benda (born January 2, 1779), thurn and taxic chamber director and former Prussian government councilor, a son of the musician Karl Hermann Benda (1748–1836), was raised to the nobility on April 28, 1825 by the Bavarian king.

The fourth coat of arms shows two pointed white horns in the heart shield in red. In 1 and 4 in gold three red roses each from top right to bottom left. 2 and 4 divided into blue and white. On the helmet two buffalo horns in blue and white with three roses each on the outside.

The coat of arms of the von Benda family is contained in the coat of arms frieze of the estate members of the district council (24 lords and 3 cities) of the district of Greifswald.
