Nicole Saunier

Nicole Saunier (born February 13, 1947 ) is a French film editor .

Life

Nicole Saunier made her first film editing work in the early 1970s with two thrillers by Philippe Labro under the titles Neun im Fadhreuz (1971) and Der Erbe (1973). In 1980 she began working with director Claude Zidi on many occasions, which lasted until 2003 . Saunier was the editor of many of his film comedies, such as Congratulations ... stayed seated again (1980) and Inspector Loulou - Die Knallschote vom Dienst (1980) with Coluche and Gérard Depardieu in the leading roles.

Saunier won the French César film award in the Best Editing category for Zidi's crook comedy Die Briblichen (1984) . Saunier was also involved in the sequels Gauner gegen Gauner (1990) and Die Briberlichen 3 - Return of a Gauners (2003). Under Zidi's direction, Saunier was also responsible for editing the comic adaptation Asterix and Obelix against Caesar (1999). She also worked several times with the director Joyce Buñuel , such as in the dance film Salsa & Amor (2000). Over the years, Saunier worked for French television on six episodes of the Julie Lescaut crime series, which was very successful in France at the time .
