Benedikt Brydern is a German violinist , producer and composer .

Benedikt Brydern studied music with a focus on violin and piano at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich. After graduating in 1992, he studied film music at the University of Southern California (Thornton School of Music) in Los Angeles.

He composed the music for films such as The Mysterious Knight , the documentary Rhyme & Reason and for several independent films . Standing Ovation , his latest project, hit theaters in the US in 2010 . He also played the violin for the music of various films, video games and television series ( Battlestar Galactica , Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles , Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Kahlohr and Command & Conquer ).
