Benedikt Röskau
Benedikt Röskau (born October 5, 1961 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German screenwriter .
Life
While still studying philosophy, German and theater studies in Munich, he worked as a sound engineer in numerous TV and cinema films and wrote, directed and produced a number of short films. He has been a screenwriter since 1988. From 1997 to 2007 he was a member of the board and from 2002 to 2007 a member of the executive board of the VDD (Association of German Scriptwriters eV) .
He co-authored some of his scripts with his partner Sylvia Leuker, who died in 2019 . The relationship resulted in a son.
