Benediktas Vilmantas Rupeika
Benediktas Vilmantas Rupeika (born March 24, 1944 in Saušilis , Telšiai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and journalist .
Life
After graduating from the Žemaitė Middle School in Telšiai , he graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in journalism . He worked in the Rajon newspapers "Naujas gyvenimas" in Prienai and "Komunistinis rytojus" (Rajongemeinde Alytus ). From 1969 to 1990 and from 1997 he worked at Lietuvos radijas ir televizija as a correspondent, editor of information programs, department head, political commentator, author and presenter of the radio program "Kaip žmonės gyvena". From 1990 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .
He was a member of the Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija .
