Architecture and history
The three-and-a-half-story building was built in 1902 on an L-shaped floor plan. At the same time, the mirror-inverted house at Benediktinerstraße 3 was built. A front garden in the style of a courtyard was created between the two buildings . Both buildings are based on a design by the architect Dorendorf. The representative house was designed in Art Nouveau style . Striking architectural elements are tail gables and polygonal bay windows .
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed under registration number 094 16751 as a monument .
As the southern end of the Klosterbergegarten, the building is considered significant in terms of urban planning.
