The Benediktinerstraße 3 building is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the south side of Benediktinerstraße in the Buckau district of Magdeburg and forms an ensemble with the neighboring building Benediktinerstraße 2 to the west . The latch runs directly north of the house, between the building and Benediktinerstraße . To the north is the Klosterbergegarten .
Architecture and history
The house, built in 1902 according to plans by the architect Dorendorf, has three and a half stories in Art Nouveau style. The representative plastered building has a tail gable and a polygonal bay window facing north towards the street . The floor plan corresponds to an inverted L, which is a mirror image of the house in Benediktinerstraße 2. A front garden in the form of a courtyard is created between the two houses .
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 71017 .
As the southern end of the Klosterbergegarten, the building is considered significant in terms of urban planning.
