Benelux Agreement

The Benelux Agreement is a treaty signed by Belgium , the Netherlands and Luxembourg on June 20, 1932 , the aim of which was to slowly dismantle customs barriers (annual reduction of 10%). This should pave the way to simplified trade and a common economic policy. Other European states are also asked to join this treaty in order to end the global economic crisis that continues to rampant .

The Benelux Agreement was replaced by the Benelux Agreement in 1958 .
