Beni Isguen ( Arabic بني يزقن) is a city in the northern Algerian Central Sahara in the M'zab Valley. It is part of the Bounoura commune in the Ghardaia province . Beni Isguen is considered a holy city for the Mozabite religious community .

Beni Isguen, together with the neighboring city of Ghardaia and the cities of Melika , Bounoura and El Atteuf, forms a pentapolis in the M'zab. Beni Isguen, founded in 1347, is walled as a ksar . A city tour is only possible with a guide, and no stranger or non-believer is allowed to spend the night in the city with the particularly devout Mozabites. The six-aisled oasis mosque dates from the 12th century. Together with the other oases in the M'zab Valley, Beni Isguen has been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1982 because of its exemplary urban development . The zip code is 47005.
