Benjamin Rocher

Benjamin Rocher (* 20th century in France ) is a French director and screenwriter.

Life

Benjamin and his brother Raphaël Rocher founded Empreinte Digitale and the film production company Capture the Flag together with film critic Yannick Dahan in 2003. The first joint work was the short film Rivoallan . The first feature film that Rocher made together with Yannick Dahan as a director was the zombie film The Horde (2009). Rocher and Dahan received two International Fantasy Film Awards for the Horde at the Fantasporto 2010 film festival , one for the script and one for the best camera. He also won the Sci-Fi jury award at the Gérardmer Film Festival with Dahan. In 2010, the production company also took care of the Canadian horror film Territories .

Together with Thierry Poiraud , Benjamin Rocher then shot a mix of football and zombie film called Goal of the Dead - Elf Zombies You Must Be , which was released in France just in time for the 2014 World Cup . Rocher did the first half of the film while Poiraud shot the second half.

In 2015, Antigang was released , the first film that Rocher directed alone. The film is about a police unit that wants to stop a horde of criminals. Jean Reno plays the leading role .
