Bennerberg

The Bennerberg is a 206 m high hill west of the village of Brakelsiek in the community of Schieder-Schwalenberg , Lippe district . It is to the east (on the right) of the Niese , which flows through the Steinheimer Holz. The forest-free hilltop is under discussion as a location for wind energy. Southwest of the summit is the Schalenstein in the state forest Schieder , still lying on the Benner mountain and the neighboring Runte mountain some barrows .

Benner the mountain is located in the large-scale conservation area Lipper mountainous terrain with Steinheim, Blomberger heights Sabbenhauser trough and Schwalenberger heights (LSG 4020-0026), is located on the south side, the conservation area Bennersiek (LSG 4120-0002).
