Benny Dagan

Benjamin "Benny" Dagan is an Israeli diplomat and his country's current ambassador to Sweden . He replaced Eviatar Manor , who was Israeli ambassador to Sweden from 2004 to 2008.

Life

Dagan holds a degree in Middle Eastern History and Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem . He initially worked in the news department for the Arab radio department of the Israeli broadcasting authority. In the Center for Political Research of the Israeli Foreign Ministry , he was responsible for questions relating to the Middle East. In 1986 he was in Cairo , 1988 in Chicago and 1998 in Washington, DC on outposts. Dagan is married and has three children.
