Benoît Benvegnu (born January 18, 1985 in Montauban ) is a French football goalkeeper .

Club career

At the age of 13, Benvegnu was accepted into the training center of Toulouse FC . Benvegnu went through all French youth teams from the U-15 to the U-19 . It was no longer taken into account for the U-20 and U-21. With the U-17 he won the European Championship in 2003. From 2002 he ran alongside for the reserve team in Toulouse. In the 2005/06 season he was in the professional squad for the first time, but was not used. He celebrated his first division debut on January 24, 2007, when he was in the starting line-up in a 1-0 win at OGC Nice . He also played the following home game, which, however, remained his only appearances in the top French division. In the summer of 2007 he moved to the second division club SC Amiens . After he only made three appearances as a substitute goalkeeper in his first season there, he became a regular goalkeeper in the second season. In 2009, after two years, he moved to the also second-class OC Vannes . At first he was also seeded in Vannes, but was then pushed out of the gate and stopped playing in the 2010/11 season. At the end of December 2010 he left Vannes and did not find a new employer.
