Benoît Pedretti (born November 12, 1980 in Audincourt ) is a former French football player .

Club career

Benoît Pedretti began his career in the youth of FC Sochaux ; in July 1999, at the age of eighteen, he got a professional contract there and made his debut in the league team of Sochalia .

In the summer of 2004 he moved to Olympique Marseille for five million euros , and one year later to Olympique Lyon for 7.5 million euros . After mainly sitting there on the bench, he moved to AJ Auxerre for the 2006/07 season for around five million euros .

After the end of the 2010/11 season, he moved to his dream club, OSC Lille .

On August 4, 2013, Pedretti signed a two-year contract with AC Ajaccio.

In 2015, the defensive midfielder moved to AS Nancy . There he received a contract until June 2016, with the option for a second year. There he ended his active career in January 2018 after a total of more than 400 first division appearances and became Nancy's assistant coach.

National team

Benoît Pedretti completed a total of 22 international matches for the French national football team between 2002 and 2005 . With France he took part in the Confederation Cup 2003 and the EM 2004 .
