Beppe Cino

Beppe Cino (actually Giuseppe Cino , born February 3, 1947 in Caltanissetta ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter .

Life

Cino graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1970 with the exam film Otello er moro and in the following years switched between making his own documentaries and working as an assistant director , which he took over several times for Roberto Rossellini and Vittorio De Sica . In 1983 he made his debut with the original Il cavaliere, la morte, il diavolo based on his own script and regularly presented new works in the following years, including for television since the mid-1990s.

Cino's work is diverse: La casa del buon ritorno is a horror film , a comedy followed in 1989, and in 1992 he made a road movie with In viaggio verso Est . The star-studded two-part La Signora della città was created for television in 1995 and a documentary about Roberto Rossellini two years later. 2004 appeared with Miracolo a Palermo! , his last film to date, a dramatic comedy.

The pseudonym Bob J. Ross , often ascribed to him, belongs to Remo Angioli .
