Beržai is a village with 26 inhabitants (as of 2011) in Lithuania . It is located in the administrative district of Silai , in the district of Jonava ( Kaunas district ), a few kilometers from the central town of Jonava . There is the Beržai reservoir (22.6 ha), the Beržai manor (owner Colonel Mykolas Kalmantas). The Lokys , a tributary of the Neris, flows here . In Soviet Lithuania a school ( Beržų aštuonmetė mokykla ) with eight grades was founded here. In 1959 there were 74 residents.
