Berghof (Solden)
The Berghof is a former homestead in the municipality of Sölden , Tyrol . The building is one of the original courtyards of the municipality of Sölden.

The Berghof is located orographically to the left of the Ötztaler Ache (west side), directly above the center of Sölden, north of the Rettenbach.
history
A building at the Berghof is first mentioned in a document around 1370 AD. In 1588 AD the Berghof was already listed as one of the original farms of Sölden in the books of St. Petersberg . This 16th century courtyard still exists. Now the building is used as an accommodation facility. Several farmsteads have been built around the Berghof . Nowadays they are all run as boarding houses , some with agricultural use.
Film location
From September 6, 1939, parts of the film Die Geierwally by Hans Steinhoff were shot at the Berghof.
