The Bergkogel is 621 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Rosaliengebirge in Burgenland . It lies east of the Lanzenkirchen cadastral community of Ofenbach and west of Wiesen . The border with Lower Austria , along which a hiking trail runs, runs only about 200 meters west of the summit . Neighboring mountains are the Bauernmaiss ( 630 m ) in the south, the Spitzte Riegel ( 594 m ) in the north and the Kogel ( 537 m ) in the southeast. The main ridge of the Rosaliengebirge between the Bergkogel and the Spitzten Riegel is called Gscheid .
