Bergsstaten

Bergsstaten is the Swedish authority for mountain opportunities. Its headquarters are in Luleå , with another branch in Falun . It is one of the oldest Swedish authorities and was founded on February 14, 1637.

The Swedish mining authority treats all mining law matters in Sweden. Bergstaten is subordinate to the Swedish State Geological Institute ( Sveriges geologiska undersökning ), which belongs to the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
