Berik Äbdighaliuly

Berik Baqytuly Äbdighaliuly ( Kazakh Берік Бақытұлы Әбдіғалиұлы , Russian Берик Бакытович Абдыгалиев , Berik Bakytowitsch Abdygalijew * 18th September 1971 in Satbayev ) is a Kazakh politician and since August 2010 Mayor of jezkazgan .

Life

Berik Äbdighaliuly was born on December 18, 1971 in the central Kazakh city of Satbayev. In 1994 he graduated from the Kazakh National Al Farabi University in Almaty . Until 1997 he worked as Deputy Director at the Kazakh Institute of Strategic Researches.

From 1997 to 1998 he was Minister of Information in Kazakhstan for two years. For the next two years he was employed by the Kazakh Ministry of Culture. From 2000 to 2001 he was again Deputy Director of the Institute of Strategic Researches. Until 2002 he was assistant to the mayor of Temirtau .

He was director of the Kazakh Institute of National Researches from 2002 to 2005 before working in business in the following years. In 2007 he turned back to politics and was mayor from January to August 2010. He has been mayor of Sheqasghan since August 20, 2010.
