The Berliner Klinische Wochenschrift was a medical journal that appeared in German between 1864 and 1921. It was subtitled Organ for General Practitioners .

Editor and director

The Berliner Klinische Wochenschrift was founded in 1864. In particular, scientific papers on internal medicine were published here. The publisher of the journal was August Hischwald, Berlin. From 1889 to 1921 it was headed by Carl Posner .

Focus and topics

Numerous important physicians have published important studies for modern medicine in the journal. For example, between 1880 and 1911 Paul Ehrlich published a total of 33 articles, including papers on chemotherapy, in the journal.

Time after 1921

In 1922 the Berlin Clinical Weekly and the Therapeutic Monthly Hefts , which were published by Julius Springer from 1887 to 1921 , were merged to form the specialist journal Klinische Wochenschrift . This journal now appears under the name Journal of Molecular Medicine .
