Berlin EV 1886
The Berlin Ice Skating Club 1886 was the first ice skating club in Berlin and one of the first in all of Germany.
After an internal dispute, the Berlin Ice Skating Club ( EV Berlin ) split off.
In 1889 the club was a founding member of the German Ice Skating Association . From 1893 the figure skater Oskar Uhlig was chairman of the club. In 1920 the association was one of the first to introduce women's suffrage in board elections .
The club took part in the Berlin ice hockey championship played from 1909 , the first ice hockey competition in Germany.
