The Murayamagatake is a 2600 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the second highest peak of the Widerøefjellet in the Sør Rondane Mountains .
Japanese scientists named it in 2012 after the Japanese polar explorer and expedition leader Masayoshi Murayama (1918-2006).
