Berliner Platz (Hanover)
The Berliner Platz in Hanover is a space-like extension of the former highway Vahrenwalder street in Hannover district Vahrenheide . For many decades , line 17 of the Hanover city railway's B line ended here directly on the city limits of Langenhagen . At Berliner Platz, the federal motorway 2 crosses the road that leads from Hanover to Hanover-Langenhagen Airport . The Hannover-Langenhagen junction is in the immediate vicinity .
history
The Hanover tram drove since the era of National Socialism from 1937 up to the stop at the end point of the route, the first in the building of the Wall was officially in 1961 its present name Berliner Platz.
It was not until 1991 that the tram was brought into Langenhagen via Walsroder Straße.
