Bernard Butler

Bernard Butler (born May 1, 1970 in Stamford Hill , London , England) is a British musician and record producer. He is considered one of the most influential guitarists of his generation.

Career

At the beginning of the Britpop era he was guitarist for the band Suede . In 1995 he briefly replaced Nick McCabe in the band The Verve .

As a producer, Butler received a BRIT Award in 2009. In 2008 he was named Producer of the Year at the Music Managers Forum Awards and nominated for Best Producer at the Music Week Awards 2009 .
