Bernard Chauvin (born February 17, 1953 in Aubenas ) is a former French racing driver .

Career in motorsport

Bernard Chauvin was active in GT and sports car racing for several seasons in the 1990s . He was employed primarily in the 24-hour race at Le Mans and in sports car races in France. He competed three times in Le Mans. He was only able to finish the race once. In 1994 he drove a Venturi 600LM together with Jean-Luc Maury-Laribière and Hervé Poulain . The trio was not rated due to the lack of distance covered. Aside from Le Mans, his best place was 22nd in the 1997 Spa-Francorchamps 4-hour race . The race was part of the 1997 FIA GT Championship .
