Laurent Lécuyer

Laurent Lécuyer (born August 20, 1965 in Lausanne ) is a former Swiss racing driver .

Career in motorsport

Laurent Lécuyer was active in GT and sports car racing for a number of years in the 1990s . His first racing appearance was at the 6-hour race in Vallelunga in 1993 , where he finished 20th in the overall standings. His best place was fourth in the 1994 Zhuhai 3-hour race . The brothers Christian and Oliver Haberthur were partners in the Porsche 911 Carrera RS .

In 1995 he had his only appearance at the Le Mans 24 Hours . The Venturi 600LM driven by Emmanuel Clérico , Bernard Chauvin and Lécuyer failed after a car fire.
