Career

society

Parker began his professional career in 2004 with the second division club Hellenic FC, which renamed itself Benoni Premier United at the end of the season . In 2006 he rose with the club in the top South African league, the Premier Soccer League . A year after the rise was another name change of the club in Thanda Royal Zulu and a relocation of the club headquarters from Benoni to Durban . After two and a half years in constant relegation battle in the PSL, Parker moved to the Serbian club Red Star Belgrade in January 2009 .

Shortly after his arrival, the existence-threatening financial problems of the Serbian record champions also affected Parker, who wanted to leave again in April 2009 with his Ghanaian team-mate Mohammed-Awal Issah because of several outstanding monthly salaries and had to be prevented from flying home by club officials at Belgrade airport. At the end of May 2009, rumors about the cancellation of the contract increased, as Red Star has not yet transferred the transfer fee due to Thanda Royal. After only six months he turned his back on the club and moved to the Netherlands for FC Twente Enschede . In January 2011 he was loaned to the Greek first division promoted Panserraikos for the rest of the season . In the summer, Parker signed a contract with the Kaizer Chiefs from Johannesburg .

National team

During the COSAFA Cup in May 2007, Parker was first used for the South African national team. National coach Joel Santana nominated him for the 2009 Confederations Cup .
