Bernardinų sodas
The Bernardinų sodas ( Eng . ' Bernardine Garden') is a city garden in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius , between the Gediminas Mountain , the Vilnia River and the St. Bernard Monastery in Vilnius . It is located in the Sereikiškės district and is part of the Vilnius Old Town District . In Soviet times , the garden was known as Sereikiškių Park ( Sereikiškių parkas ). After the reconstruction work based on the project of the painter Vladislovas Strausas, the garden looks like an authentic park from the 19th century. The park organizes the Folklore Day of the Lithuanian Song Festival and sometimes other concerts.
