Bernardo Baena (born April 28, 1990 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan cross-country skier .

Life

Bernardo Baena first came into contact with skiing in 2010 during a study exchange lasting several weeks in Sweden. He later trained as a student of Mora Folkshögskola under the guidance of Christian Minnatti.

In February and March 2011 he started at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo . In the qualification over 10 km, Baena finished last, almost 15 minutes behind (47th place). 120th and thus also clearly last he was in the sprint qualification. Together with his brother César Baena , Bernardo also started in the team sprint, the duo was rated 25th.
