The Schronisko PTTK Andrzejówka (German Andreasbaude ) is a refuge below the Heidelberg ( Waligóra ) in the Steingebirge ( Góry Kamienne ) in the Waldenburger Bergland in Poland .
Name and building history
Until 1945 the hut was called Andreasbaude . The name refers to the former president of the Waldenburger Gebirgsverein (WGV) Andreas Bock, on whose initiative the refuge was built and opened in October 1933.
The building was designed by the Waldenburg architect Kronk, the interior designer Brochenberger, the company Becker & Bergmann from Waldenburg and the company Patrick (wooden structures). At the time it opened, the building had a capacity of 220 people.
The hut keepers were the O. Rübartsch family until 1945, after the transfer to Poland the Marcinkowscy brothers and the Pohribniaków family.
In 1953 the Andrzejówka Hut was opened as a hut of the Polish Tourist Association PTTK . For a short time the hut bore the name of the communist resistance fighter Mirosław Krajewski , who died on January 1, 1945 in battles with German units. Today the name Andrzejówka Hut is used again.
In 1968 the first ski lifts were built.
