Bernd Eckenbach (born December 9, 1970 in Hochdorf ) is a former German motocross driver and sports coach .

Live and act

After he originally started his sporting career in cycling , he switched to cross motorcycles in the early 1980s . From 1988 he started in this sport as a professional driver with sponsorship. In 1998 he became a works driver for Husqvarna and moved from his home in Baden-Württemberg to Belgium . By the end of his career in 2003, he had won numerous German and runner-up titles in motocross. Internationally, he was able to place himself in the top ten several times and advance to fourth place in the overall standings, but never achieved his goal of the world championship title. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as a test driver and in the development department of KTM . He also appeared as a team manager for the "DMSB KTM Kosak MX Junior Team", which he co-founded. From 2007 he initially worked for BMW  - where, among other things, he was responsible for the market launch of the BMW G 450 X - and the motorcycle outfitter Touratech. In 2012 he founded his own company dedicated to coaching athletes.
