Bernd Frick (economist)

Bernd Frick (born February 9, 1959 in Trier ) is a German economist and university professor .

Life

Bernd Frick studied business administration at the University of Trier until 1983 , where he then worked as a research assistant and from 1984 to 1991 as a research assistant for Dieter Sadowski . He received his doctorate in 1991, then continued to work as a research assistant in Trier and completed his habilitation in 1995. From 1995 to 2001 he was first representative and then holder of the chair for general business administration, in particular personnel and organizational economics at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald . From 2001 to 2007 he held the Reinhard Mohn chair for corporate management, business ethics and social change at the University of Witten / Herdecke . Since 2007 he has held the chair for organizational and media economics at the University of Paderborn , where he is also Vice President for Finance.

Frick's main research areas are questions of co-determination , general personnel economics and sports economics, on which he published numerous papers.
