Bernd Gerdes (born November 3, 1989 in Cloppenburg ) is a German football player . He is used in defensive midfield and was under contract with BV Cloppenburg from 2012 to 2016 .

career

Gerdes began playing football at BV Kneheim before moving to BV Cloppenburg in 2001 , where he already asserted himself as a youth player in the first men's team. So he reached with his club in 2007/08 qualification for the regional league , in which he played 32 games as a regular and scored four goals. Nevertheless, he got down with the BVC.

In the following season 2009/10 Werder Bremen signed him for the reserve team playing in the 3rd division . He made his professional league debut on July 25, 2009 when he played through in the goalless home draw against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . In total, he came to 30 missions, where he was substituted 15 times and played 15 times from the start. In 2011 he brought it to 20 missions, in which he remained as in the previous season without a goal; he managed to stay ahead of the game with the Werder team as the penultimate because two better-placed teams did not receive a new license.

For the 2011/12 season Gerdes moved to KSV Hessen Kassel in the Regionalliga Süd. He made his debut on matchday one against SC Freiburg II when he was put into the starting line-up by coach Christian Hock .

For the 2012/13 season he moved back to his old venue BV Cloppenburg back in the Regionalliga Nord . Gerdes made his BVC debut on matchday 1 of the Regionalliga Nord against FC St. Pauli II , which BVC lost 4-2. In the 4th game against Goslarer SC 08 he scored his first goal of the season for BV Cloppenburg and also his first in over 3 years. In the end, BVC clearly won 5-1.
