Bernd Grabosch (born September 23, 1958 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

He started his career at FV Bad Honnef in the amateur upper league of North Rhine . In 1980 he moved to 1. FC Köln , but did not appear in the Bundesliga there. After moving to local rivals SC Fortuna Köln in the 1982/83 season, he immediately gained a foothold and played here until the end of the 1985/86 season. He tried again to make the leap into the German upper house of football and joined FC Schalke 04 the following season . After eleven Bundesliga appearances, however, he moved back to the 2nd Bundesliga with the Stuttgarter Kickers . There he and his teammates succeeded in promotion to the Bundesliga at the end of the 1987/88 season, in which he had a large share with 16 goals this season. This also gave Grabosch the opportunity to increase the number of his personal Bundesliga games to 39. After the direct relegation he stayed with the Kickers, but ended the second division season 1989/90 after a cruciate ligament rupture as a sports invalid. After his football career, after completing a bank apprenticeship, he worked as a branch manager of a bank in Bonn.

Bernd Grabosch played a total of 39 Bundesliga games (3 goals) and 202 games in the 2nd Bundesliga (67 goals).
