Bernd Kreimeier

Bernd Kreimeier (* 1. October 1964 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German programmer and science fiction - writers .

Life

After studying physics, Kreimeier went into research and teaching. He has lived in Ireland as a writer since 1997 . In addition to his writing activity, Kreimeier continues to work as a programmer.

His trilogy Seterra was awarded the Fantastik Prize of the City of Wetzlar in 1986 . His short story Borgen was awarded fourth place in the 1999 German Science Fiction Prize , and his short story Tag einer Salesperson 1999 came in seventh. Borgen was also nominated for the Kurd-Laßwitz-Preis 1999, as was the short story Feed / Back .

As a programmer, Kreimeier is involved in various games as a coder , for example Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee (2001), Soldier of Fortune: Gold Edition (2001), Heretic 2 (1999), temporarily also as a producer ( Quake III Arena (Elite Edition), 1999) or as a game developer ( Call of Duty: Ghosts , 2013).
