Bernd Krumbein (born August 1, 1955 in Hanover ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The striker began his career at Hannover 96 , where he was used once in the Bundesliga. After the season, Krumbein moved to the then top division club VfL Wolfsburg , where he was very successful: in the 1977/78 and 1978/79 seasons he scored a total of 35 goals in 65 games. For the 1979/80 season Bernd Krumbein moved to the second division OSV Hannover ; here he completed 53 games, scored 25 goals and left the club in October 1980 again. In January 1981 Krumbein found a new club with SG Union Solingen , where the striker scored 14 goals in 25 games.

For the 1981/82 season he went to Arminia Bielefeld , where Krumbein was not very successful; he scored only one goal in 25 games, which is why he joined SV Arminia Hannover for the 1983/84 season, after the now 27-year-old had previously completed eight games at TuS Schloss Neuhaus from the beginning of the second half to the end of the 1982/83 season. With the exception of a one-year break (1984/85 at Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin ; 3 games, no goal) he played there until 1988 and completed 79 games (28 goals). Krumbein ended his career at Peiner SG 04 before ending his career at the age of 34.

Today Bernd Krumbein is a teacher at a school in Wunstorf and plays in the over 50s at TuS Kleefeld. He lives in the Hanover region .
