Bernd Päschke

Bernd Päschke (born December 16, 1931 in Kobylin ; † May 19, 2012 in Berlin ) was a German Protestant theologian.

Life

He studied Church University of Wuppertal-Bethel (1951–1952), University of Tübingen (1952–1953), University of Heidelberg (1953–1954) and at the University of Göttingen (1954–1956). After his first theological exam in Göttingen in 1956 and his doctorate in February 1962 with Otto Heinrich Weber there , he was an assistant at the University of Mainz from 1967 to 1969 . After completing his habilitation in Mainz in 1969, he was professor of practical theology and social ethics there from 1973 to 1997 .
