Bernd Schultz

Bernd Schultz (born September 14, 1957 in Berlin-Reinickendorf ) is a German police officer and sports official.

Bernd Schultz has been President of the Berlin Football Association (BFV) since September 19, 2004 . After he had been treasurer of the association for many years from 1993 to 2004, he was able to prevail in the first round of elections against his competitors Helmut Salisch and Detlef Wilde and succeeded Otto Höhne in the association, which has more than 100,000 members. Since 1998 he has also been a member of the DFB advisory board and board. In 2004 he moved to the board of the Northeast German Football Association (NOFV) and in 2007 he also moved to the presidium. In 2007 he was confirmed in office. He is a member of the BFC Alemannia 90 , for whose predecessor club SC Wacker 04 he worked as a youth supervisor and leader and as its managing director and then first chairman. He later became vice president of the merged club FC Alemannia 90 Wacker, which he remained until 2004. In March 2009 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon by the Senator for Interior and Sport Ehrhart Körting, among other things for his 36 years of voluntary work .
