Bernd Wolff

Bernd Wolff (born September 12, 1939 in Magdeburg ) is a German writer.

Life

Bernd Wolff, the son of a forester, was born in Magdeburg in 1939 and grew up in Wernigerode in the Harz region . After graduating from high school, he studied pedagogy in Erfurt . Since 1960 he worked as a teacher for German / art education, first in Werben (Elbe) , then in Benneckenstein , from 1967 in Blankenburg (Harz) . Early literary activity led to the publication of the first children's book and membership in the German Writers' Association in 1968 . Until his retirement in 2002, Wolff worked as a German teacher and art educator in Blankenburg (Harz), where he still lives today. He is married and has two children. Bernd Wolff writes on the subjects of nature and the environment, history, landscape and historical biography.
