Bernhard Bramlage

Bernhard Bramlage (born June 23, 1949 in Friesoythe ) is a German SPD politician and was district administrator in the district of Leer from 2001 to 2016 .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1968, Bernhard Bramlage initially did basic military service in Rheine . He then studied law at Bielefeld University from 1969 to 1976 .

From 1976 to 1978 he completed his legal traineeship in Konstanz and worked from 1976 to 1979 as a research assistant at the University of Konstanz.

In 1979 he took over the management of the legal office at the city of Delmenhorst . He held this post until his election to the city council (election officer) in the city of Delmenhorst in 1983. After three years he became city director in 1986 and thus general representative of the senior city director in Delmenhorst. Bernhard Bramlage held this post until 1993.

From 1993 to 1997, Bernhard Bramlage was city director in Northeim .

In 1997 he moved to the district of Leer . There he held the post of the First District Council from 1997 to 2001.

In 2001, the citizens voted Bramlage with 51.5 percent to the district administrator of the district of Leer.

In the local elections in 2006 he was confirmed in office with 67.7 percent of the vote and was elected for eight years.

In the last district election on May 25, 2014, he was re-elected with 76.5 percent.
