Bernhard Egli

Bernhard Egli (* 1958) is a Swiss biologist (Dr. phil. II.), Ecologist , fruit grower, politician and entrepreneur from Schaffhausen .

Egli was Cantonal Councilor of Schaffhausen until 2012 , elected to the list of the Ecoliberal Movement Schaffhausen . In 2014 he was a co-founder of the Green Liberal Party in the canton of Schaffhausen and represents this section on the federal level on the party's executive committee.

In his hometown he runs the consulting firm Bioforum Schaffhausen . He chairs the Orchard Action Schaffhausen Association and the Randen Cultural Landscape Working Group and is the nature project manager of the Schaffhausen Regional Nature Park Association . Numerous publications in biological-ecological journals come from him.

He has been on the city council of Schaffhausen since 2016.
