Bernhard Gedat

Bernhard Wilhelm Gedat (born March 28, 1888 in Charlottenburg ; † October 18, 1914 ) was a German swimmer who was active in the early 20th century. He started for Charlottenburg 87 .

At the German Swimming Championships in 1906 he won the 100 m freestyle title. According to the death record of the Charlottenburg registry office, Gedat died as a soldier in the First World War "near Helonow" .
