Bernhard Hort

Bernhard Norbert Hort (born March 6, 1960 in Saarlouis ) is a German architect and university professor.

Life

Hort studied architecture at the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences and the University of Kaiserslautern to obtain a degree in engineering. From 1992 to 1997 he was a lecturer for information technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Kaiserslautern, from 1994 to 1996 he was deputy head of department and head of the project management and construction department at the building authority in Saarbrücken .

Hort has been Professor at the School of Engineering and Architecture at SRH University Heidelberg since 2004 and has been Dean of Studies for the Architecture and Facility Management courses since 2005. He specializes in "holistic construction". NHort is a managing partner in the architecture office hort & hensel GmbH, Kaiserslautern.
