Bernhard Johann von Bernuth

Bernhard Johann von Bernuth (born July 9, 1863 in Kalittken in West Prussia; † 1942 in Heinzendorf, district of Guhrau) was a German manor owner, state domain leaseholder and industrialist in the sugar industry.

Life

Bernhard Johann von Bernuth attends the Roßleben monastery school . He then studied at the University of Heidelberg, where he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia in 1884 . Following his studies, he completed a three-year agricultural training course and studied again for one semester at the Agricultural University in Berlin. He then took over the administration of his father's property in Heinzendorf and the Kraschen state domain. In 1925 he acquired the Stroppen estate. Von Bernuth was chairman of the board of directors of the Guhrau sugar factory and chairman of the supervisory board of various smaller companies.

Von Bernuth was chairman of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Agriculture and a member of the committee of the German Agriculture Council. He was district deputy of the Guhrau district and patron of the Protestant church in Heinzendorf.
