Bernhard Köthenbürger

Bernhard Köthenbürger (born November 28, 1870 in Haaren ; † after 1933) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( center ).

Life

After graduating from primary school and attending private schools, Köthenbürger learned the masonry and carpentry trade. From 1889 to 1892 he completed construction studies at the Strelitz Polytechnic and from 1892 to 1898 he worked as a construction manager on private and state buildings as well as in his parents' company. In 1898 he founded his own construction company in Paderborn . He later became a master builder and chairman of the Paderborn Crafts Office.

Köthenbürger joined the Center Party. He was an unpaid alderman of the city of Paderborn and a member of the district council of the Paderborn district . In 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1933.
