Bernhard Leipold

Bernhard Leipold (* 1972 ) is a German psychologist .

Life

He studied psychology at the University of Trier (1993–1995) and at the FU Berlin (1995–1999) ( doctorate (2004) at the FU Berlin, habilitation (2014) at the University of Hildesheim ). From 1999 to 2001 he was a research assistant at the TU Dresden . From 2001 to 2005 he was a research assistant at the Free University of Berlin. From 2005 to 2013 he was a research assistant at the University of Hildesheim (substitute professorships: HU Berlin , 2010; University of Trier , 2010–2011; University of Münster , 2011–2012). Since 2013 he has represented the professorship for developmental and health psychology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . Since 2016 he has been teaching as professor for developmental and health psychology at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich .

His main research interests are stress management and the development of resilience in adulthood, education and learning in adulthood, and mental health and positive aging.
